Baking days and desolate nights
Well enshrined from far off lights
By daunting minarets high above
Scarce the flutter of a passing dove
Raging storms that rise to heights
Promise engulfed by lasting blights
An alien land stretches all around
Now far away life’s muffled sound
Amid sandy land and strewn rocks
Lies auburn curls with lil’ goldilocks
Embellished in shards and twisted steel
By the contorted circle of a rides wheel
With useless shekel’s jarring sounds
Bought soaked ruddy distant mounds
Never a murmur shall escape
From a treacherous landscape
Lie both together clipped wing
Like in life to never ask a thing
Amid sandy land and strewn rocks
Lies auburn curls with lil’ goldilocks
All they knew was care and give
for else to love and solemnly live
yanked by fate for heaven’s delight
to angel’s abode and nameless sights
the best aloft in earnest leave
sprouting soaked hearts sieve
left behind in sobs and heave
streaming tears, eternal grieve
